Born in Belfast, Maine, Grayling had a natural born interest in the arts and creativity! It was high school that Grayling was first enchanted with oil painting. The texture’s and color, combined with the sheer beauty of it was and is magic for the soul.

Grayling moved to Lewiston in the Fall of 1993. Taking a break from all that was high school grayling put down his paint brushes and pallet knives for all that creates art out of hair. In the year 2000 the desire for more creativity and expression of feelings through art became stronger.

Shortly thereafter Grayling joined Captive Elements Art House as assistant to the curator. This creative space offered new relationships with other artists, and a space to experiment with mixed media.

Today Grayling has continued in this path as one of the founding members of “Art Walk Lewiston Auburn” and the owner of “The Studio” a shared artist space located in the Historic Centennial Block 291 Lisbon street, Lewiston. The Studio is a shared space for Artists to create art, inspire and be inspired by a community of artists dedicated to celebrating the arts in Lewiston/Auburn, Maine. Sharing the Beauty of Art and the Art of Beauty all over this great community.

Finding inspiration through involvement with community, Grayling is also The Creative Director and a Master Stylist at  Orbit Hair Hair Lash & Brow.
